'Wonderful hotel. Very clean and modern. I believe it recently underwent a renovation and I don't think you will be disappointed staying here. The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was included in the price of the room and was great. The location is excellent, very near the Cavern Walks which is what we were interested in. Our two nights stay couldn't have been better. I highly recommend it. And the cost was very reasonable, 70GBP per night for a double. Also, I recommend the Grapes Pub on Matthew Street for food, especially lunch. We kept going back, excellent pub.' Aug 2009

'It is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere. Our room was beautifully clean and everything worked! The bathroom was superb with lashings of hot water and the breakfast was delicious, do not hesitate to book...' Aug 2009

'My wife and I stayed at the Sir Thomas Hotel for the weekend while we visited our student son who has just started at John Moores University. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the room was spacious, clean and tidy; while the breakfast was hot, tasty and filling. Although located in a lively area of the city, the noise was not too bad and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The only downside is the lack of car parking facilities - the hotel does have a discounted arrangement with the local NCP, but even so, a fee of £13 for 24 hours parking is expensive. This is not the fault of the hotel - it is a reflection of the astronomical parking charges operating in Liverpool. The hotel is splendidly situated near a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops. Museums and the Albert Dock are within an easy ten minutes walking distance.' Sept 2009

'Fabulous Hotel, superb service/staff, ideal location and excellent restaurant (made better as we were seated on the table next to a well known Liverpool Celeb!!). Would definately recomend it to anyone visiting Liverpool and want a quality hotel in the city centre.' Sept 2009

'Myself and my five friends stayed in this hotel for the weekend and absolutley loved it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is so central to the city that no taxis were required. We ate in the hotel both days and the food was great. The only fault that we had with the hotel was that the lift was broken on our second day. Also just want to give a special mention to the lady in charge of housekeeping she was very helpful and very friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time in Liverpool, it is a wonderful city and the people cannot do enough for you.' Oct 2009

' I have to say that the Sir Thomas is really a fantastic hotel. Historically impressive and charming, the people there were extremely accommodating. The bar was great fun and the room was super clean and comfortable. Its close to downtown and Liverpool city center is a lively place so if you're used to hearing crickets at night, you may want to stay in the countryside. Would go back there again in a heartbeat.' Oct 2009

'Stayed here for one nite in October 2009,centrally based and convenient for Liverpools shopping center//large clean room with good size bathrooms. That coupledwith lashings of hot water day and nitre. the weekend rate was £89 pound which included a very hearty buffet and ful English breakfast. believe the mid-weekprice is £69 a room with breakfast. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.the hotel also icludes a lively bar with ample seating and big screen sports
Really can,t think anything bad to say abouth this hotel and would definately go back again.' Oct 2009
